The Tylosaurus was probably the biggest ocean dwelling carnivores during the Cretaceous Period. It sized above 40 feet in length. The Ichthyosaurus was extinct during the end of this period and Tylosaurus basically took their place as the main hunters of the waters. It was very fast, strong, and even had a ramming point at the nose for stunning prey to catch them for food. From the fossils it looks like they were not fully evolved to be in the ocean because they had webbed paddle like feet, but a find along the whole top of its body. This is another dinosaur found in the Kansas badlands at around the 1870's. There have also been findings in North America as well as New Zealand .
